(March 26, 2007)--A South Florida police chief says Texas-born reality TV star Anna Nicole Smith died of an accidental drug overdose.

Charlie Tiger, the police chief in Seminole, Fla., told reporters, "We found nothing to indicate any foul play."

Smith died on Feb. 8 after she was found unresponsive in her hotel room.

Broward County Medical Examiner Joshua Perper says a combination of medications led to "combined drug intoxication."

They included sleeping medication and a lengthy list of others, including methadone.

Perper says Smith had been on several anti-depressant and anti-anxiety drugs.

The sleeping medication can be used as a sedative for treating insomnia, alcohol withdrawal, anxiety and post-surgery pain.

The autopsy results were delayed after police said they had found additional evidence that might have a bearing on the case.

Nov. 7, 2006: Smith is discharged from a week-long stay in a Bahamas hospital where she received treatment for pneumonia and a collapsed lung.
