(March 28, 2007)—Investigators found the body of missing school counseling aide Donna Sandlin of Keller early Wednesday morning in rural McLennan County and arrested her husband in connection with her death.
Sandlin’s daughter reported her mother missing around 8 a.m. Monday after Sandlin failed to report for work at Fossil Ridge High School.
Sandlin’s Toyota Land Cruiser was discovered Monday night in the parking lot of a strip shopping center in Keller, but a search of a nearby wooded area produced no evidence of the missing woman.
On Tuesday officers searched Sandlin’s home and vehicles and Tuesday night, police said, Sandlin’s 47-year-old husband Richard directed officer’s to his wife’s body.
Authorities found the body just south of Valley Mills around 1 a.m. Wednesday.
Richard Sandlin was arrested an hour later on a murder warrant.
He was ordered held in lieu of $150,000.
