How Wet Was It? March Is One For The Record Books

(April 1, 2007)—Last month was the wettest March in more than a century in Central Texas.
The heavy rain on Thursday and Friday cinched the record.
Officially the total for the month is 9.76 inches, breaking the previous record of 8.38 inches in 1905.
Since the first of the year, the official rainfall total is 14.29 inches.
