Central Texan Among The Fort Hood Dead
A 62-year-old Cameron man was one of the 13 people killed in a shooting rampage Thursday at Fort Hood, and families in other towns and cities across the country were also getting word Friday that loved ones died or were injured in the violence.

A few years back I went to the walk in clinic at Darnell and was fortunate enough to be seen by Mr. Cahill. I remember him because he was so kind and caring. My heart goes out to this nice man's family. God Bless you.

while i agree with all of you I can see the point of this news cast they simply are reporting the news thats thier job, but they did list him as the gunman. I wondered if this is a terrorist attack but i noticed one of the ppl killed had a muslim name as well, wish all the facts were in. lots of talk abount soliders not carrying guns well i agree and dont agree, in a panic situation where a man in uniform is shooting ppl and then everyone has guns and everyone is in uniform could make a more dangerous situation, i mean the police arrested 3 other men only cause they were in uniform and running so if everyone was packing many more couls have been killed, what does everyone else think?

I also agree that Hasan's name shouldn't be listed with our brave men and women that died unnecessarily. To the families we will keep you in our prayers. God Bless all our soldiers and their families. God Bless America!!!!

I have to agree with most of the comments about the aledged shooter, his name should not be even be mentioned with our fallen soldiers. This is such a tragady to have this on our soil and in our back yard so to speak. May God bless our heros and their families.

As I read the emails and realize that this killer's name is placed on a list of innocent victims it makes me sick to my stomach. Is this what our soldiers are dying for in Iraq and Afghanistan so that a terrorist can get his name on the list of our fallen soldiers and police officers. America when are we going to wake up and say enough is enough stop this insanity and stand up for what you beleive and be willing to fight and die for it.

I too am in shock tha Hasans name was listed with the others. The only place Hasans name should be is on a tombstone.

Please remove the name of the shooter, it has NO place among the men and women who were killed or injured. It is horrible that our soldiers would die on U.S soil. I am also tired of the shooter being referred to as "major", he lost that title as well as deserving any respect for serving in the army for these acts.

Dear Father, I ask you to please lay your hands on the victims and the families of those who lost thier loved ones due to this tragic act. I ask you to give them hope and strength now and in the days to come. In Your Holy name I pray, Amen. I hope the gunman is saved. We need answers and closure. I agree his name should not have been printed along with the VICTIMS' names. Thats not ok for so many reasons. I actually find it very disrespectful. God bless America..God bless all of us...

I have always been a staunch KWTX supporter. SURELY YOU PEOPLE HAVE MORE COMMON SENSE THAN TO PUT HASAN'S NAME NEXT TO VICTIMS OF THIS TERRORIST MASS MURDER. Get his name away from those he slaughtered! NOW!

I agree TAKE HIS NAME OFF the list. He doesn't deserve to be on there. My thoughts and prayers do go out for those families and soliders of Fort Hood who are the victims of this outrage. May God bless you all.
