I want to know, if so many were shooting at the gunman how are they certain that burnette's gun was the one that injured him.

Thanks to all of the brave individuals for thier quick response to this horrible tragedy. God knows it could have been a lot worse, but the awesome training not only in the military but also local enforcements saved countless of lives that day. Thank you does not seem to be enough but it is all I can do other than pray for all of you. And I pray everyday for our soldiers, police dept, and world peace. May God Bless each and every one of you

Spc.Burnette the words "thank you" do not fully express my feelings for all that you and your fellow service men and women do for our country. I am the wife of a Air Force veteran and proud of it. I wish you a speedy recovery and May God bless you now and always.

Good luck and I wish you speedy recovery. I wish to express my gratitude to all the brave men and women of the military on this veteran's day. I aggree with Dennis Hasan should be lined up against a wall and shot by a firng squad although that is too quick a death for that coward..

On this veterans day I am appalled at the shooting at Fort Hood. This traitor could just have gone AWOL or possibly resigned his commission. Instead, he chose to massacre his fellow soldiers. He has indeed broken the faith and should face a military tribunal and a televised firing squad. This incident must be investigated thoroughly and blame placed whereever it lies in the upper echelons of command. Somebody dropped the ball.

Spc. Burnette, I too, thank you for your heroism and pray that you heal quickly (emotionally and physically). Hasan needs to be taken out to the desert and chained to the ground over a bed of fire ants!

To Spc. Logan Burnette, thank you for your heroism and I am praying for a speedy recovery for you, I wish you the best....To Hasan, you are the lowest life form and wish you a slow, painful death, you don't deserve to breath our air.
