LOUISVILLE, Ky. (November 11, 2009)--U.S. Sen. John McCain said Wednesday that last week's shooting rampage at Fort Hood was an "act of terror."
McCain said there were signs that the suspected gunman, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, had shown "disturbing behavior" and that those signals should have been passed along to the proper authorities.
The Arizona Republican made the comments Wednesday in a Veteran's Day speech at the University of Louisville as a guest of Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell.
The shooting killed 12 soldiers and 1 civilian, and injured 29 others.
Hasan, was shot by civilian police and is recovering, under guard, at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio.

Minuteman- Roger that.He is nothing but a traitor. We need to publically execute him.
It is easy for him to say because he is not the President. If he were President, he would be singing a different tune.
Giving this scumbag the "terrorist" label will tie him up in federal trials until he is an old man. He is a traitor and a murderer. He should be tried by the army, convicted by the army, and killed by a firing squad courtesy of the US Army.
