LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. (November 12, 2009)—A man in southwest Florida man who tried to send a dozen yellow roses to accused Fort Hood gunman Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan says he’s drawn the attention of federal investigators.

Dan M. Ross ordered flowers for Hasan after the deadly shooting rampage last week and requested a card that read "In God's eye, and those who submit, you are a hero!"

Instead of completing the $59.95 order, the owner of the Texas flower shop said he reported it to the Army and the FBI.

When the Naples Daily News asked the FBI about Ross' order, a spokesman declined comment.

The shooting a week ago Thursday left 12 soldiers and a civilian dead and 29 others injured.

Two civilian police officers shot Hasan, who remains under guard at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio.

He hasn’t been charged, but officials said he would be tried in a military court.

u know we all will be judged for what we do here on earth. i feel for the people who lost there lives because nothing is more precious then living cause once your gone there is not coming back. and for the man who tired to send flowers to him he may felt the need to do so. people jump to the run things and take everything out of content so fast.
