AMARILLO (November 12, 2009)—A car that lost a tire Thursday on Interstate 27 in Amarillo ended up slamming into a house after going airborne and doing a barrel roll.

The loss of the tire caused the driver to lose control of the car at around 10:15 a.m. Thursday.

The vehicle went up the concrete sidewall of the highway, which launched it into the air and over a metal guardrail.

In the air, the car did a 360-degree barrel roll and came to rest back on its wheels, police said.

It then ploughed into the house, which was destroyed.

No one was home at the time and the driver and two passengers in the car escaped serious injury.

They were all treated and released.

Thank The Lord no one was seriously injured. God had to have been in that car.
