Fire Damages Local Apartment
Investigators say a child playing with matches evidently set a fire that displaced two adults and two children.

(April 12, 2007)—Killeen fire investigators say a child playing with matches started a fire that caused major damage to an apartment Wednesday night.
The fire broke out just before 9 p.m. at an apartment complex in the 1100 block of Garth in Killeen.
Smoke was showing when the first fire units arrived.
A second apartment received minor damage from the fire.
The Red Cross was assisting the two adults and two children displaced by the fire.
