FALLS CO (November 20, 2009)--A Friday pre-dawn fire ravaged an unoccupied house in rural Falls County north of Marlin.
Marlin fire officials report they were sent to the house on Falls County Road 116 at about 4 a.m. and the initial units on the scene reported the structure fully involved.
No one lived in the house.
The fire could be seen from as far away as Marlin as the blaze presented an orange glow in the early morning sky.
There were no reports of injuries and neither the origin nor cause of the fire has yet been established, according to fire officials.
The house is said to be a total loss.

Didn't the Marlin Volunteer fire department have a member that was going around starting fires in abandoned houses? Maybe they should question some of their members.
