Severe Storms Fire Up To North And Northwest Of Area
Severe thunderstorms fired up Tuesday afternoon to the north and northwest of Central Texas, producing at least one confirmed tornado.

(April 24, 2007)—A large area of showers and thunderstorms stressed from southwest of Wichita Falls east to Tarrant County and north to Oklahoma City Tuesday afternoon.
There were reports of at least one confirmed tornado in Tarrant County and tornado warnings were issued for Tarrant and Denton Counties.
Severe thunderstorm warnings were also in effect for that area.
There were also reports of a possible tornado touchdown in Johnson County.
An area of rain was forming to the west of the Interstate 35 corridor in Central Texas.
