(May 7, 2007)--What started out as an earache for a 9-year-old boy in Albany, Oregon, turned out to be creepier.

Jesse Courtney called his mom from school saying his ear hurt.

She took him to the doctor who determined something was in there but couldn't tell what.

When Jesse's ear canal was flushed out, a dead spider came out.

After further flushing, a second spider was found, and it was still moving.

Jesse isn’t sure how the spiders got in his ear, but thinks they may have crept in while he slept.
