Residents also had to decide one proposed amendment to the state constitution Saturday.
The proposed constitutional amendment would extend public school property tax rate reductions to elderly and disabled residents of Texas for the 2006 and 2007 tax years.
The governor last year signed a more than $15 billion property tax cut into law.
But critics say some disabled and elderly residents didn't benefit from the tax cuts because their rates were already frozen.
Waco voters will decide seven bond issue proposals that would pay for everything from convention center improvements to a new police station.
They will also decide two contested city council races.
Killeen voters will decide two contested city council races and three contested school board races.
Temple voters will decide a proposed $19.9 million school bond issue and two contested school board races.
Midway ISD voters will decide a contested school board race.
Copperas Cove voters will decide three contested city council races and three contested school board races.
