Near Head-On Collision Sends Two To Area Hospitals Monday
A near head-on collision between a car and an SUV Monday at a busy Killeen intersection sent two drivers to area hospitals.

KILLEEN (November 30, 2009)—A collision between a car and an SUV Monday afternoon on the Highway 190 access road at Jasper in Killeen sent two drivers to area hospitals.
The two vehicles collided nearly head-on at about 30 miles per hour, police said.
One driver was taken to Darnall Army Medical Center at Fort Hood and the other was taken to Metroplex Hospital in Killeen.
Neither had life threatening injuries, police said.
The access road in the area of the accident, which happened at around 2 p.m. was closed to traffic while the wreckage was cleared.
