WACO (December 11, 2009)—An elderly Waco woman and her four grandchildren escaped safely after fire broke out Friday morning in the mobile home they shared, but the fire left all five homeless.
The fire broke out at around 8:20 A.M. Friday in the rear portion of the mobile home the five shared in the 2500 block of South 7th Street in Waco.
The Waco American Red Cross chapter was assisting the five displaced residents Friday afternoon.
Meanwhile, the Waco Fire Marshal’s Office is looking for the cause of the fire.
