And if they can't get your land by eminent domain, they can "condemn it for public use." Happened to me a number of years ago when I refused to sell my land. They condemned my land, paid me a dime on the dollar and evicted me. Then they didn't need all the land they had taken from me, so they sold the "leftovers" to the city for more than they paid me for the whole lot. Stinks. But it is the law. Is anybody else starting to notice how all the things that are legal now are not necessarily very ethical? Justice used to mean that something or someone was just.

If they let James Construction get ahold of any more projects, they might as well push the original completion date back 10 or 15 yrs. The south loop 363 upgrade in Temple is a big flop! The new pavement is already wearing out and by the looks of progress it will be another 3 or 4 years before they are completed.

We 'All' are going to have to have a 'We-The-People' Revolt to ever 'actually' put a stop to this. And there was another News Article a few days ago, about increasing/starting a tax on Miles Driven(based on milage driven at Texas Inspection Sticker time or GPS tracker system. This just irks the he\\ out of me!! Txdot does 'not' have the money/funds to do anything!! And Absolutely he\\ no to emminent domain!! PERIOD!!! The Fed./State Government pushes us all into buying 'more' full efficient vehicles, but when We do, they try and shove them where the sun does 'not' shine! I'm MAD! And the other 'main' person(She) is/was talking in Lubbock about a Port-to-Plains Highway!! GET READY TEXANS!! Emminent domain says they can take over property for 'Public use'
