House Fire Leaves Two Homeless
A house fire that broke out Monday night and rekindled Tuesday morning left two Central Texas residents homeless.

WEST (December 29, 2009)—A house fire that broke out Monday night in West and rekindled Tuesday morning left a man and a woman homeless, West Fire Chief George Nors said.

The fire was first reported at around 9 p.m.

It gutted the one-story brick home at 904 N. Main St.

The fire rekindled at around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nors said.

No injuries were reported.

Other details weren’t immediately available.

They are part of my family, they lost everything, many, many years of memories that they can never replace, but physical possessions are just things. We am just so thankful that neither one of them were hurt, they had a Guardian Angel watching over them.

Anna, This is simple. The Oxford Dictionary says: rekindle -- to set alight or start to burn again. Fire departments use the term all the time. Don't lay that issue on KWTX. Get a life!
