COPPERAS COVE (January 2, 2010)---Ashley Sallwey, 15, the Copperas Cove girl who disappeared three days after Christmas was found at around 11:30 p.m. Friday by Killeen police officers, Copperas Cove police confirmed Saturday.

It is not clear if she had any injuries.

Police did not say where she was found or what she may have been doing.

Sallwey was last seen at about noon Monday at the Family Food Mart store on Urbantke Lane.

Police believe she had been talking to someone in a white pickup truck before she disappeared.

Austin described the case as a “welfare concern.”

I would like the same questions answered. Just don't understand why the mother, who accussed so many of refusing to assist her, is doing absolutely nothing to assist the other parents (if these people even exist). Basically, why isn't Ashely's mother using all of this social networking to help the other parents? I guess the other children she claims are involved are just not any of her concern? I know she is sicking hard to the "ongoing investgation" but that didn't stop her when she was looking for her daughter! Did it?! It also didn't it stop her friends that are defending her on this on this forum! Someone needs to tell the truth!!! Either there is a horrid child prostitution ring being ran in CC/Temple/Killen area OR this mother is a huge publicity seeking liar... Much like the air ballon parents!!! Regardless of which one the police and media needs to really step up their game!

So how did they find her? Where was she? Who was she with and where is the person the supposedly took her? If there is someone taking people in the area I want to know that she/he is locked up. WHY is no one talking. Especially the mother of this girl that was supposedly taken.

For all of those who jump so quick to conclusions when you have no idea what's going on...you need to keep your comments to yourself. The family cannot talk about what happened as this is an ongoing investigation. Imagine what it would be like if this was someone you knew or your family member...I don't think you'd appreciate some of the comments made. I also know for a fact first hand she wasn't a run away so until you do know the facts...shut your mouths! TerraSue...I sure hope you don't have kids or family with kids...I would hate to see what happened if this was you in this situation...how quickly we push REAL PROBLEMS aside to focus on our own messed up lives...you should be ashamed of yourself...and you too Fred. You both should get lives and quit commenting on here. I'm extremely happy and relieved Ashley was found and praise her mother and sister for all they did fo find her.
