TEMPE (January 3, 2009)—A Tempe, Ariz. woman who spent Christmas in Texas has been arrested in Florida on suspicion of custodial interference, but police say the whereabouts of her infant son remain a mystery.

Miami Beach police took Elizabeth Johnson, 23, into custody Wednesday, authorities said.

They said Johnson was in San Antonio from Dec. 22 to 27.

Johnson was scheduled to appear on Dec. 28 in Maricopa County Superior Court's Family Court in Phoenix for a custodial hearing, but authorities said she failed to appear and lost custodial rights to 8-month-old Gabriel Johnson.

Authorities say Johnson has yet to reveal the whereabouts of her baby.

They are searching for the car she was driving.

I don't know what actual divorce experience you women have but the courts decisions are heavily favored towards the wife/mother. I spent 25K to keep my daughters but they were awarded to their mother who had no job. She then left the country and they were raised on welfare overseas. So please, unless you speak from actual experience don't run your mouthes.

to mommy of 3 i don't know what you're thinking that a judge will not take children away from their mother. i am married to a man who has custody of his 2 children and i know several cases like this because the mother was not the safest/best choice for the children so yes, she does have something to worry about. i hope the child is ok and that she left the child with someone and no harm done to child but if she needs to hide the child, she needs to think if she's the best choice for the child.

IF SHE WAS A GOOD MOTHER SHE SHOULDNT BE SCARED 100 PERCENT OF THE TIME THE JUDGE DOES NOT TAKE CHILDREN AWAY FROM THEIR MOTHER. SOUNDS LIKE SHE MIGHT HAVE SOMETHING TO BE WORRIED ABOUT.
