(June 18, 2007)—Monday’s train trip from Oklahoma City to Fort Worth by Amtrak's Heartland Flyer has been canceled because of flooding in North Texas.
Joe Kyle with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation says two buses carrying a total of 50 passengers are making the trip to Fort Worth instead.
Kyle says both buses left Oklahoma City around mid-morning.
One was traveling nonstop to Fort Worth.
The second was to make the Heartland Flyer's regular stops in Norman, Purcell, Pauls Valley and Gainesville.
