(June 22, 2007)--Authorities have determined that the baby who was found on an Ohio doorstep does not belong to a missing pregnant woman.

The baby was left outside a home about 45 miles from where Jessie Davis lived.

Davis, who was born in Waco in 1981, was reported missing a week ago.

Her mother found the woman's home in disarray, and her young son home alone.

Hundreds of volunteers have been taking part in a second day of searching Friday in the area where she disappeared.

As for the baby who was left on the doorstep, authorities say a woman has admitted leaving the baby there.

A sheriff says the woman had concealed her pregnancy from her family, and that it's not related to the Davis case.
