GATESVILLE (January 19, 2010)-A Coryell County man charged with murder is scheduled to make his first court appearance Tuesday in Gatesville.
Travis Vershun Brazil, 22, of Copperas Cove, is charged with capital murder in connection with the Jan. 14 shooting death of Frank Schreiber, 22.
Schreiber’s wife Leila Schreiber, 22, was also injured in the same shooting incident.
Brazil and a second man, Brandon Christopher Walker, 19, were ordered held without bond following the incident.
Frank Schreiber was pronounced dead at the scene while Leila Schreiber was taken to Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center with a wound to the upper left torso, police said.
