Fire Guts RV Park Office Building

BRUCEVILLE-EDDY (February 01, 2010)-Bruceville-Eddy Volunteer Firefighters responded early Monday morning to a structure fire at an Recreational Vehicle park along Interstate 35 in southern McLennan County.

The fire started around 1:50 a.m. Monday in the main office of the Bruceville-Eddy RV Park located about 2 miles north of Bruceville-Eddy.

The first fire crews on the scene reported visible flames from the building.

The early morning fire gutted the office building but firefighters managed to contain the flames before they could spread to any nearby RVs.

No injuries were reported in connection to the fire but the cause remained under investigation early Monday morning.
