WASHINGTON (March 03, 2010)-Federal money will flow again to furloughed federal workers and those claiming extended jobless benefits now that President Barack Obama has signed a $10 billion stopgap bill.

The Republican senator quit his fight Monday under heavy pressure after the cutoff of federal funding for road maintenance, more generous unemployment benefits and health insurance subsidies became effective.
