COTULLA (March 8, 2010)--A helicopter crash during a hunting trip on a ranch in south Texas left the pilot and a passenger dead.
The Texas Department of Public Safety on Monday identified the victims as the pilot, Brian Keith Faglie, 40, of Uvalde, and Dale Allen Jones, 52, of Houston.
A La Salle County justice of the peace pronounced both men dead at the scene of the crash, the DPS said
The Robinson R22 helicopter went down Saturday in a field on a ranch about 13 miles north of Cotulla, in the Dilley area.
National Transportation Safety Board Investigator Tim LeBaron said Faglie was the pilot during the hog-hunting trip.
The weather wasn’t bad at the time of the crash Saturday morning, LeBaron said.

Ya Junior, Shut up. I went to school with the pilot and there is no other man i would more readly trust my life with. Besides, if Peta had been the cause, the Rangers would be involved with the investigation as well as the NTSB & FAA. Pull your head out of your 4th point of contact.
If you don't know what you are talking about please SHUT UP junor. I am a cousin to one of the men who died in Cotulla and it is just a very terrible accident. No one else was involved there is no conspiracy with PETA or anyone else. They were out killing hogs that distroy the land. Your hearts should go out the families, they lost people that they love you are being a jerk!
