Road Where Bridge Sinkhole Formed Closed For Evaluation
The City of Temple will close South Kegley Road Thursday and Friday to evaluate the bridge where a sinkhole formed last month.

TEMPLE (March 11, 2010)-The City of Temple will close South Kegley Road Thursday and Friday from Sunflower Lane to Kegley Lane.

The road will be closed briefly on Thursday and again on Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in order to continue the long term engineering study on the bridge where the sink hole occurred last month.

Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes while Kegley Road is closed.

According to KWTX's televiion report they were going to fill it up with cement, then do a study as to what else needed to be done to correct the erosion behind the concrete wall.
