SAN ANTONIO (March 12, 2010)--San Antonio police have called off the search of a landfill after finding no signs of 8-month-old Gabriel Johnson, who’s been missing since late December.

San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said Friday that after searching through 4,600 tons of debris, police found no evidence related to the disappearance of baby.

Johnson's mother is jailed in Arizona after disappearing with the 8-month-old in mid-December.

The baby was last seen shortly after Christmas in San Antonio.

Johnson, 23, of Tempe, Ariz., has refused to disclose the whereabouts of the baby.

Texas authorities spent a month sifting through trash from a hotel where Johnson had stayed.

What a sad case, but I would bet you that child is dead and buried somewhere in the park that the mother has referred to as the place where she 'gave' the baby to a couple. I believe there may be a pond in or near this park. They need to check it out, and check out the pond, they would probably find the childs body there.
