GATESVILLE (March 12, 2010)--A 31-year-old Copperas Cove man has bonded out of the Coryell County Jail after his arrest on a charge of improperly videotaping a teenage girl.

Carl Joseph Dagostino was arrested and charged on March 11 after the girl’s mother reported the incident to Copperas Cove police.

The mother reported the girl found a digital video recording device hidden in a bathroom at Dagostino's home at 1206 Craig St., in Copperas Cove.

According to the affidavit submitted for the arrest warrant, the child reported to her mother in early March that when she was staying at Dagostino's house, Dagostino had instructed her and her younger sister to take a shower before the three left for the movies that night.

As the two young girls were preparing to shower, the camera fell from its hiding place in a pile of clothing and onto the floor, the affidavit said.

The 13-year-old determined the camera was recording and she stopped it, the affidavit said.

The child rewound the device and on the playback, she saw Dagostino setting up the camera to record the girls and the girls entering the bathroom.

The two girls got dressed, fled the residence and contacted their mother.

Dagostino was arrested five days later.

His bond was set at $7,500.

unfortunately sometimes children can make these accusations and they are simply cause the child is upset but there are times when it really does happen... sadly i am in this situation myself and unless you know ALL the facts there is no way to know but i hope the truth will come out
