GATESVILLE (June 27, 2010)—A Killeen woman died and two other people were injured as the result of a head-on collision Saturday on State Highway 36 near Gatesville.

Ladonna Stephenson, 46, of Killeen, died at about 1 p.m. Sunday at Scott & White Hospital, in Temple, from injuries she received in the crash.

She was a passenger in a 2004 Saturn driven by Joseph Garcia, 52, also of Killeen.

Garcia was listed in serious condition at Scott & White Sunday afternoon.

Felicia Deweese, 18, of Gatesville, was driving a 1985 Mercury also was taken to Scott and White, but her condition was not disclosed.

All three victims taken to Scott and White just after noon Saturday from the accident scene near the Smith Creek bridge about 10 miles east of Gatesville.
