WACO (July 8, 2010)—A one-car rollover Thursday afternoon backed up southbound traffic on Interstate 35.
Police said the driver of a Scion lost control of the car at around 1:20 p.m. on the rain-slickened highway just north of the 18th Street exit.
The car hit the median barrier and rolled over, police said.
The 20-year-old man who was driving was banged up, but didn’t require hospital treatment.
Traffic was reduced to two lanes while the wreckage was cleared from the highway.

I drive this twice a day, speed limit is 65, they drive over 80 in this. It happens every morning. Waco, you need money, just run radar and police I35 from Valley Mills to the Brazos River, both ways. I would support this in a hearbeat rather than spend money on cameras. You will make a whole lot more money!

We too totaled out a car at this location. When it is wet, even going at a slower speed, it is dangerous. There has been many wrecks there in the last few months.
