Texas Plane Crash Victims Identified
Authorities have identified the flight instructor and two brothers who died when a small plane crashed in a Texas field.

TOLAR (July 14, 2010)--Federal officials are investigating a single-engine plane crash that killed a flight instructor and two brothers from India.

Texas Department of Public Safety trooper Dub Gillum said the three men were en route to Arlington after a short trip to Stephenville when the plane crashed Tuesday night in a field in Hood County.

He identified the victims as Casey Brinegar, 26, of Arlington a licensed pilot and flight instructor; Indian native Kartik Kalaichelvan, 22, who was attending an Arlington flight school, and his brother Pratik Kalaichelvan, 21, who was visiting from India.

Authorities were trying to determine Wednesday what caused the crash near Tolar, 45 miles southwest of Fort Worth.
