CROSBY, Texas (July 29, 2012)—Two of the four people who were riding a Razor all-terrain vehicle Saturday at an off-roading park in Crosby southwest of Houston died when the ATV flipped backward and crushed them, Harris County Sheriff's Office spokesman Thomas Gilliland said.
The ATV was approaching a steep embankment when it flipped backward, authorities said.
Gilliland said two people were able to jump off the vehicle in time, but a man and woman did not and were crushed beneath the ATV.
The man died at the scene and the woman died in an ambulance on the way to a hospital.
Their names were not immediately released.
