TROY (March 14, 2014) Traffic was backing up late Friday morning on northbound Interstate 35 in Troy after a chain reaction crash involving a tour bus and four other vehicles.
The accident happened at around 11:25 a.m. Friday just north of the FM 935 exit.
By 12:30 p.m. traffic was backed up for about five miles.
The accident site was cleared just before 1 p.m.
Motorists were being directed off the highway.
Three ambulances were at the accident scene, but authorities said the only person injured was a woman who was riding in one of the vehicles involved in the crash.
She was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
Southbound traffic was slowing in the area of the accident because of rubbernecking, the Texas Department of Transportation said.
