After Losing Championship, Players Find Cars Burglarized

Players on a Central Texas football team suffered a disappointing loss in the Class 4A championship game over the weekend, and then returned home to discover that almost a dozen of their vehicles were burglarized while they were gone.

BRENHAM (December 23, 2013) Police were investigating Monday after almost a dozen vehicles belonging to members of the Brenham High School football team were burglarized while the players were in Dallas to face Aledo in the Class 4A Championship game.

Brenham lost 38-10.

In all, 11 vehicles were burglarized.

Windows were broken out, stereos and radar detectors were stolen and in several instances tires and rims were taken as well, KBTX-TV reported.

Brenham Police Corporal Chris Jackson told the TV station that investigators will review video from surveillance cameras in the high school parking lot.
