Amber Alert For Abducted Texas Boy Cancelled

DENTON (March 28, 2014) An Amber Alert issued for a 10-year-old Denton boy who authorities say was abducted and could be in “grave or immediate danger" was cancelled late Friday afternoon.

"The victim was located. The suspect is in custody," the Department of Public Safety said in an update.

No further details were provided.

WFAA-TV in Dallas reported, however, that Denton County deputies pulled Williams over in an unincorporated area of the county.

The boy, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was not injured and was returned to his family.

The Amber Alert was issued for Jake Davis, who was last seen at around 11:30 p.m. Thursday in Denton.

Police were looking for Brandi Diane Williams, 20, in connection with the abduction, the alert said.

Authorities identified her as the boy's babysitter.

She was believed to be driving a red 2002 Ford Explorer with Texas license CPJ-3756.
