ELLIS COUNTY (January 14, 2014) The Ellis County Sheriff’s Office issued an Amber Alert early Tuesday for Inez Ramirez, 16, who was last seen at around 10 p.m. Monday in Red Oak, but later canceled the alert, saying the teen left willingly.

She’s believed to be with Edger Barron, 23, who's driving a red 2006 Chevrolet Silverado, the alert said.

Ellis County Sheriff Johnny Brown told WFAA-TV in Dallas that the girl packed a suitcase before she left and that he suspects the two are headed to Mexico.

The alert was issued at around 8 a.m. Tuesday and was canceled about two hours later.
