DALLAS (March 28, 2013)--An Amber Alert issued late Wednesday for a North Texas teenager was cancelled early Thursday after the boy called his family.

Aron Jones, 16, called his family last night to let them know he was OK, but was being held against his will, WFAA-TV in Dallas reported Thursday morning.

Other reports, however, indicated the teenager had returned home.

No arrests have been made.

The alert said Jones was last seen Tuesday evening around 5 p.m. near his home in South Dallas.

Police at first reported his disappearance might have to do with drugs or possibly a conflict over a woman.

Jones was believed to be with Tarvarus Stuckey, 24, who may be driving a gold 2005 Land Rover with Texas license DN2B787.

The report Thursday did not indicate whether Stuckey had been located.

Stuckey is black, stands 6-foot-4, weighs 185 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair.
