BRYAN (July 20, 2012)--Rhonda Rochelle Washington, 33, of Bryan, was free on bond Friday after she was arrested and charged with aggravated assault in an incident in which her husband was stabbed.

Her bond was set at $20,000.

Police records show Washington's husband told officers he was trying to sleep early Thursday when his wife got upset while reading his Facebook page in the living room.

When he checked on her, she chased him with a knife and stabbed him, records show.

Washington said her husband was high on drugs and they were arguing over his drug use when she struck his hand with her keys, records show.

However, police said the husband did not appear to be intoxicated.
