MAURICEVILLE (July 8, 2014) Amanda Lee Parker, 40, of Mauriceville, was in the Orange County Jail Tuesday charged with murder in a shooting that left another woman dead.
Her bond was set at $1 million.
Natalie Jeanne Little, 42, also of Mauriceville, died at a hospital after deputies found her Monday evening outside a home with a gunshot wound to her head, Orange County Chief Deputy Clint Hodgkinson said.
Parker and Little argued at the home before the shooting, Hodgkinson said.
After Little was shot, Parker started to chase another woman who ran to a neighbor's house, whose residents retrained Parker, he said.
