Police Release Photos Of Armed Man Who Robbed Local Credit Union

KILLEEN (November 28, 2012)—Police released security camera photos Wednesday of a man who robbed the Heart of Texas Federal Credit Union Tuesday in Killeen.

The man walked into the credit union at 1612 South Fort Hood St. Tuesday morning and demanded money from a teller.

The robber escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber was white, about 6-feet tall and weighed between 220 and 240 pounds.

He was wearing white tennis shoes, blue jeans, a beige University of Texas ball hat and a beige button-up shirt with red stripes.

He was last seen running east into a residential neighborhood.

No injuries were reported in the robbery, which was reported just before 11 a.m.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to call Bell County Crime Stoppers at (254) 526-TIPS.
