BRYAN (October 30, 2012)--Police were investigating Tuesday in an effort to determine whether a man charged in a Texas A&M bomb threat knows a woman who’s accused of a similar hoax at another university.
Brazos County jail records show Dereon Kelly and Brittany Henderson, both of Bryan, were held Tuesday on charges of making a terrorist threat.
Their bonds were set at $150,000 each
Kelly is charged in connection with a bomb threat that was e-mailed on Oct. 19 and that led to the evacuation of the A&M campus.
He was arrested on Dallas County fraud charges after the incident.
He was charged Monday in connection with the bomb threat.
Henderson was arrested last week in the Oct. 18 threat at Texas State University in San Marcos.
A&M police Lt. Allan Baron said Henderson is a person of interest in the A&M case.
