BARTLETT (September 3, 2012)—Authorities throughout Central Texas were on the lookout Monday for Everett Tyrone Johnson, 43, who’s named in a murder warrant after a deadly weekend stabbing in Bartlett.

Williamson County deputies were dispatched to a report of a stabbing at around 12:45 a.m. Sunday.

They found Joseph Lee Garza, 26, lying in the road in front of his home at 475 Lucy Street in Bartlett.

Witnesses told deputies Garza was stabbed during a fight.

Johnson, who has ties to the Killeen and Waco areas, drives a 1998 two-door gray Lincoln, the rear of which has been lowered.

The car displays Texas license 189-XPF.

Authorities are advising anyone who sees Johnson to call 911 and not to approach him.

Texas Rangers are assisting in the investigation.
