WACO (June 10, 2014) Baylor and Texas A&M will be renewing their rivalry on the hardwood.
CBS Sports reported Tuesday morning that the two men's basketball teams will be playing a game in Waco in December.
A Baylor athletic department official confirmed Tuesday the game will be played, but said it is not official yet because the contract has not been signed.
Baylor and Texas A&M played for decades in both the Southwest Conference and the Big 12, but the two schools have not played each other in a major sport since Texas A&M left for the Southeastern Conference in 2012.
Scott Drew's Baylor team went 26-12 last season and advanced to the Sweet 16.
The Aggies, coached by Billy Kennedy, went 18-16 last year.
