BELTON (May 19, 2014) A Belton man was ordered held Monday in the Bell County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond charged with kidnapping after a weekend incident involving his girlfriend.
Deputy Belton police Chief Jen Wesley said Sean Paul Desilets, 35, was arrested early Sunday morning at a residence in Belton after his girlfriend told officers she was taken against her will when she told her boyfriend their relationship had ended.
No one was injured, Wesley said.
Wesley said the boyfriend abducted the woman from a South Belton apartment complex, but eventually returned her to her home, where police were waiting to arrest him.
