DALLAS (June 11, 2014) Authorities hope an autopsy will provide clues about the identity of a person whose decomposed remains were discovered in a drainage ditch in Dallas.
A person who was collecting cans discovered the remains Tuesday night and then flagged down a Dallas Fire-Rescue ambulance crew.
Officers found the badly decomposed remains in the underbrush of the ditch.
Further details were not immediately released about the gender or possible age of the person.
