Bomb Threat Reported At Local Fast Food Restaurant

WACO (July 28, 2013) -- Officials responded Sunday to the scene of a bomb threat off I-35 in Robinson.

The threat was made against the McDonald's Restaurant near the Sun Valley Blvd. exit.

The specific nature of the threat was not immediately made available.

Nearby businesses, including a hotel, were evacuated.

The Sun Valley Blvd. bridge and roads nearby were closed as a precaution.

A Fort Hood bomb squad was called to the scene.

The squad used robots to examine the interior of the restaurant.

It was not immediately made available if any device was found inside.
