Bottles Were Everywhere After Truck's Load Spilled Onto Busy Local Highway

WACO (March 20, 2013)—Traffic backed up Wednesday afternoon along eastbound Highway 6/Loop 340 in Waco after hundreds of empty green plastic water bottles spilled from the back of a pickup truck.

The bottles that littered the highway in the area of Imperial Drive bore labels that said “Baylor Alumni Network.”

A cleanup crew was en route, but police said the mess could be a problem until close to 5 p.m.

The driver of the pickup as cited for failing to secure the load.
