DALLAS (February 27, 2013)—Highland Park High School in a wealthy Dallas enclave canceled classes Wednesday after a box of .22-caliber bullets was found in a bathroom in the second threat in as many days.

Highland Park High School officials said police are investigating to try to determine who left the shells Wednesday morning in a boys' restroom.

The school went into lockdown and then classes were called off Wednesday afternoon.

University Park police Capt. Leon Holman said a threatening note was found Tuesday morning at the school but in a different bathroom.

That hoax also led to the early release of students.

In January the school received three other hoax notes.

Holman said all of the notes were discovered in the same restroom.
