DALLAS (January 27, 2013)—A man who was attacked with a chair and a pool stick at a bar in Dallas has died, police said.
Dallas Police spokesman Sgt. Warren Mitchell said officers were sent to the East Dallas bar Saturday where they found the victim unconscious.
Mitchell said the victim appeared to have been attacked by several suspects who also kicked and stomped him.
The victim was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
Mitchell did not immediately identify the victim.
He said police were pursuing leads on suspects.
One other person was assaulted, but was not hospitalized.
