WACO (January 10, 2013)--A break in what a city official said was an 8-inch water line caused a leak on Lake Shore Drive near MacArthur Drive in Waco and crews were working Thursday to repair the break.

A City if Waco Water Department supervisor at the scene Thursday said he was unsure just when the break occurred, but said crews should be able to repair it Thursday.

The water line crosses Lake Shore at the intersection and the break is in the middle of the street.

Traffic along Lake Shore Drive was being diverted around the leak while crews worked on the line.

There were no reports of customers in the area being without water service.
